If you are unable to attend this SITES event but are interested in getting involved with the SITES Collaborative please contact Brent at bsuski@usgbc.org. On February 13th, join two practitioners as they dive into the SITES v2 rating system, the first rating system that is available to the public for use on any project to pursue certification as a sustainable landscape. The presentation will walk through the basic principles of the SITES system, review a few v2 certified projects, and discuss recent experience utilizing the rating system on a Federal project.

Following the presentation will be a brief introduction to the kick off for the USGBC West North Central SITES Collaborative group.

This program qualifies for 1 GBCI SITES Specific CE and 1 AIA LU/HSW CE.

*Lunch will be provided for in-person attendees. Webinar link will be provided to remote attendees upon registering. Note: Webinar link will not be sent to in-person attendees. We are currently seeking sponsors for this event. If your company is interested please contact Brent at bsuski@usgbc.org.

Wild Ones Annual Design With Nature Conference has been growing along with advancement of both the design and practice of naturalized landscapes. The conference offers insights into topics impacting the native plant movement, always encouraging us to embrace the connection of native plants to the ecological health of our communities.

Wild Ones: Native Plants, Natural Landscapes promotes environmentally sound landscaping practices to preserve biodiversity through the preservation, restoration and establishment of native plant communities. Wild Ones is a national, not-for-profit environmental education and advocacy organization founded in 1979.

WI ASLA is now accepting presentation proposals for the 2018 Annual Spring Conference being held February 28 and March 1 which will be held at Union South in Madison, Wisconsin.

We are looking for a diverse range of topics that not only satisfy our continuing education requirements for licensure, but continue our lifelong learning and inspire us.
