The Trust for Public Land will host a "Rose Fellow" through Enterprise Community Partners' Rose Fellows program which places early-career designers (formerly limited to architects, but this year landscape architects are able to apply) with local community development organizations. Based out of The Trust for Public Land’s Saint Paul office, the Rose Fellow will work to deepen understanding of mitigation strategies related to the issue of displacement (the unintended consequence of gentrification) that may arise from creating new parks and other green spaces. The Rose Fellow will strengthen the relationship of housing and parks organizations through both national research and on-the-ground work in Saint Paul and Cleveland.
