Wapsie Pines Lawn Care & Landscaping provides full-service lawn care and landscape services in the Cedar Valley and has been doing so since 2002. We design and install for both commercial and residential clients in the Northeast Iowa area. We know that quality employees are the key to a quality product. We are looking for a landscape designer who is resourceful and creative with design and is able to effectively communicate designs to both the client and the installation foreman. The applicant should work well with people and conduct themselves in a professional manner. This position requires job planning and coordination with our landscape manager, utility locate companies, local entities, subcontractors, and product distributors. The applicant should have a thorough understanding of landscape design, AutoCAD, and horticulture. Experience in a design/build setting is preferred but not required. Training on landscape estimating software will be provided. Employees are offered a competitive compensation package including commission in addition to base salary, an employer contributed simple IRA, paid holidays, vacation and sick time, as well as health, dental, and vision insurance benefits.
