About the job:
As a project designer at Coen + Partners, you will be part of every aspect of a project providing research, conceptual ideas, diagrams, storyboards, drawings, documentation, and renderings, while contributing to the advancement of innovative design and marketing systems.

This role requires proficiency in AutoCAD, Rhino and the Adobe Design Suite. Revit experience is preferred.

Barr is seeking a highly creative, client-focused, part-time graphic design specialist to support project teams in its water resources group and across the company. The person in this position would use exceptional graphic communication skills to create technical illustrations, realistic design visualizations, diagrams, and other artwork to support the development of proposals, report documents, brochures, digital presentations, infographics, etc.
<p>The person in this position will work with Barr's landscape architects, water resources engineers, ecologists, and environmental scientists. Much of the work will involve the production of infographics, renderings, and other drawings to be used in a variety of design projects, studies, and reports. The work offers an opportunity to contribute to and learn from progressive and innovative design teams that provide landscape architecture, water resources, ecological restoration, and engineering services to our clients.

What You Will Bring: The successful candidate will have: 5 to 10 years of experience working in a professional design firm focusing on site design / project management for both hard-scape and soft-scape projects; a Landscape Architect registration; a Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture; strong ability to develop creative aesthetic design solutions. Construction documentation experience utilizing AutoCad software (Civil 3D experience a plus); experience with marketing & business development including proposal writing, scope/fee budgets for work; demonstrated ability to manage projects efficiently and profitably; effective written, verbal and graphic communication skills with internal and external clients; a desire to expand our Landscape Architectural services; a valid driver’s license; and a clean driving record.

The Trust for Public Land will host a "Rose Fellow" through Enterprise Community Partners' Rose Fellows program which places early-career designers (formerly limited to architects, but this year landscape architects are able to apply) with local community development organizations. Based out of The Trust for Public Land’s Saint Paul office, the Rose Fellow will work to deepen understanding of mitigation strategies related to the issue of displacement (the unintended consequence of gentrification) that may arise from creating new parks and other green spaces. Your Duties:
We are growing and this is a great time to join Stantec. The Landscape Designer position will work closely with Stantec's Senior Landscape Architects, Planners, and other design and engineering professionals on a wide range of project types for public and private sector clients throughout North America. Responsibilities will include preparing studies, reports, presentation materials, design documents, and construction documents and assisting with construction administration activities.

Your Capabilities and Credentials:
Successful candidates must have an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited landscape architecture program. Dual degree candidates (Planning and Landscape Architecture) are also encouraged to apply. Current licensure as a Landscape Architect is preferred, but not required for candidates. Licensure will be required for continued advancement within the team

We are seeking candidates with at least 3 years of prior landscape architecture experience (including internship experience) working within a professional design firm. The successful candidate will have one or both of the following complementary skill sets.

Skill Set 1: Exceptional graphic skills using both hand and computer drawing and rendering techniques. Demonstrated skill in urban design and planning, master planning, and creation of urban design guidelines, is required with this skill set. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint), AutoCAD, Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign), and SketchUp are required. Prior experience with rendering programs such as 3-D Max or Rhino is a plus.

Skill Set 2: Exceptional technical design skills in site and corridor-based projects across a range of project scales from less than one acre to hundreds of acres in size. Skills required include technical design layout, grading, and detailing of design projects of all sizes. Successful candidate must have, or be able to achieve, proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D (including alignments and grading surfaces), AutoTURN, LandFX, and other construction document production-oriented software programs. Strong quantitative aptitude and attention to technical detail are required. Prior experience in site construction, either observation or hands-on, is beneficial.
