The following committees are responsible for ASLA-MN events and programs. Awards CommitteeASLA-MNs annual awards program showcases outstanding projects completed by ASLA-MN members. You need JavaScript enabled to view it Education and Professional DevelopmentThe Education and Professional Development Committee develops continuing education opportunities to help members meet the State of Minnesota's requirement for licensure and to provide professional development opportunities for both students and practitioners. Continuing education activities include developing education seminars and LARE Exam Review sessions. Student activities include working with the ASLA-MN Student Chapter to coordinate portfolio reviews, brown bag sessions, and the annual student awards and student mentoring programs. Advocacy efforts are organized around key issues such as economic recovery, transportation, sustainable design, livable communities, water and stormwater, and historic landscapes.
