Awards Committee

ASLA-MN’s annual awards program showcases outstanding projects completed by ASLA-MN members. The awards committee coordinates the submission and review processes and produces the recognition banquet. Communications Committee

The Communications Committee keeps members informed of the latest information affecting the profession. Education and Professional Development

The Education and Professional Development Committee develops continuing education opportunities to help members meet the State of Minnesota's requirement for licensure and to provide professional development opportunities for both students and practitioners. Continuing education activities include developing education seminars and LARE Exam Review sessions. Student activities include working with the ASLA-MN Student Chapter to coordinate portfolio reviews, brown bag sessions, and the annual student awards and student mentoring programs. Events Committee

Government Affairs Committee (ad hoc)

The Government Affairs Committee researches and conveys information about state and federal legislative and regulatory issues that impact the profession of landscape architecture. Advocacy efforts are organized around key issues such as economic recovery, transportation, sustainable design, livable communities, water and stormwater, and historic landscapes. Public Relations Committee
