Planting for Pollinators, a guide to residential pollinator habitat was produced as part of Minnesota’s ground-breaking Lawns to Legumes program which offers funding to create pollinator habitat in residential yards in support of the endangered Rusty Patched Bumble Bee and other pollinators. Aimed at the general public who may not have much planting experience, the publication fills a missing niche in pollinator habitat creation, providing specific DIY instruction as well as a larger framework for users to understand the agency they have to protect threatened pollinators.
